Land Rover owned by BMW have been challenged to design a new look Defender, a legend and stable of Land Rovers history. The reason being is to compy with modern crash and technical regulations. The DC100 is the latest concept which was shown at Frankfurt Motorshow 2011 and was designed with both a hard and soft top configuration, in an attempt to gauge public opinion on the design direction.
This is going to be a shock for the purists. Personally I do not think the new design will go down well at all.
